Well, be glad you don't live in the "country." We have had many various animals in the house...a bunny rabbit, various bugs of course, a cotton mouth once...that was fun, several frogs, a couple of lizards, and a few others that I cannot remember. Bear in mind that my son invited several of these inside...but a few wandered in on their own. We had a rabid fox in the shed. That was fun too. Our poor neighbors had to take their dog for shots for weeks after the fox bit her. Only a possum...ask Chuck and Jen about the bear in the tree in their backyard!
Scanning down your sidebar, I see you've read The Other Boleyn Girl. I've been wanting to read that myself. How was it? By the way, I found you through the Mother-Talk list!
Originally from Virginia, I have been living in Dallas for since 2001. In addition to a wonderful husband, Jon, I have two children, Jack born in 2004 and Eva born in 2006. On February 29, 2008 my then 16 month old daughter, Eva, was diagnosed with Stage III neuroblastoma. She has successfully had tumor removal surgery and four rounds of chemotherapy.
